Open Source Integral

This is the first node in the foundation of an integral blogging network. Let's start out really simple. Post your blog here! We'll link each other up. Let's see if we can get a handful of bloggers, and then take the next step.

Hmm... I still have to figure out the exact purpose of my blog, but FWIW here it is: Speculate.it (http://www.speculate.it/)

BTW, maybe we could come up with a Twitter hashtag and use Twitter to help tie the network together.

Hey grey,

howz Integral Life working out - i'm not involved and wondering if its worth the effort? i find the website a bit chunky - for lack of a better word...

and is the Gaia pods/forums for the "integral " crowd still thriving???

Dunno. Neither place is exactly hoppin'. That's why I'm focusing on microblogging these days. Seems to me that Twitter, for example, can be a great way to just follow the energy of a community wherever it happens to be flowing without needing to worry about any one "place" being consistently thriving.

So if you see a hot discussion on Integral Life or Gaia or here or wherever, you tweet about it and people hear about it and show up. Same for blogs.

BTW, I'm on Twitter here, for anyone who's not already following me.

Cheers,
~G

Twitter makes for claustrophobia in an outlier such as myself. I suspect that in a project like Shaman Sun proposes the real wisdom will be coming from the outliers...otherwise all you get is common conventional wisdom, the standard entreaties to Kenny asking, "How should I live?" "Tell me what to think." Like the rabbit has to always learn, Twitter is for kids.

Hmm... not sure I agree with you there. Sure, there's a lot of that on Twitter, but there's more than just that. And I'm not suggesting that we should try to appeal to the masses. I'm just saying that Twitter (or microblogging generally), when used properly, can be a good way to unite the Integral community.

Plus, outliers just talking to other outliers doesn't really do that much for moving society forward.

Cheers,

I wouldn't bet the house boat on that proposition. We've dealt with this elsewhere...
