Hey Shaman I long ago noticed the parallels between Teilhard and Sri Aurobindo. I cosider the two to be the founders of the Integral Paradigm. Teilhard in turn got many of his ideas, including the Noosphere, from Vladimir Vernadsky, the Russian-U...

About
I'm an esotericist, integral yogi, and vegan

I used to be more keen on intellectual debates, now i have lost interest in these things. I prefer to work on myself spiritually, and if i do write it is my book, and also emails.

My interests include (in no particular order except alphabetical), animal rights, consciousness in general, ecological awareness and environmental consciousness, esotericism and metaphysics, the evolution and history of life on Earth, integral philosophy, personal and global transformation, the sacredness and welfare of all lving beings and the Earth as a whole, science in general, science fiction, spiritual practice, transhumanism and futurism, vegetarianism/veganism.

I follow the both the "Integral Yoga" of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, the nonduality jnana yoga of Ramana Maharshi, and the bhakti yoga of Yogi Ramsuratkumar. I have also been influenced (but more on the philosophical level) by Gurdjieff/Ouspensky teachings.

For me spirituality has to be about transformation in this world, not a flight to an otherworldly nirvana which solves none of the Earth's problems. It has to include empathic compassion for all sentient beings, and seeing all beings as equal. And the individual spiritual transformation has to involve all faculties of the being, it has to be an integral transformation, leaving out nothing of importance, and including both the individual and collective consciousness, the replacement of teh current order built on unimaginable cruelty, exploitation, fear and ignorance, with one based on spiritual insight, knowledge, compassion, and harmony, and ultimately transformation and divinisation of the Earth as a whole (and beyond that even the Cosmos as a whole)

In the past I was a strong critic of mainstream (Wilber-style) integralism. Since November 2008 I tend to feel much more positively towards the mainstream integral movement (I'll be submitting an essay to Integral World explaining my current position), and am now more interested in a constructive, collaborative approach. Criticism on its own when taken too far becomes counterproductive. it's better to work together and co-create in a synergetic manner

Currently I'm busy writing a book, entitled Integral Metaphysics and Transformation. this will incorporate Integral Yoga philosophy, the Integral Movement, Esotericism, Metaphysics, Planetary Evolution, and many other subjects.

I have a webset, called kheper, although asome of it is in need of revision or upgrading, to reflect my changing perspectives. I also have a blog - Integral Teransformation, and a Gaia (formerly Zaadz) profile
What will you be doing in 5 years?
Hopefully will have already had several books published, will have advanced greatly in my sadhana (spiritual practice), travelled or be travelling, and maybe if i'm lucky achieved at partial enlightenment :-)
