shaman sun added a discussion to the group OSi Projects
Hey everyone, quick update... I started an OSi twitter account for us. The basic idea so far is to socialize with other folks, post updates and goings-on OSi, and invite others to join in the discussion. I'll attempt to network who I can, there a...

About
Enjoy writing and mysticism, spirituality. Currently attending Fordham University, working on a degree in sociology. Not sure where I'm going next...

Fascinated with integral theory in its many forms, particularly Jean Gebser's work. Also interested in Manuel Delanda's work as a more open means to understand "big picture" theory, not as encapsulating, but as expanding.

Very interested in spiritual practice, meditation and energy/healing, spiritual teachings and contemplative practice.
What will you be doing in 5 years?
Writing, reading, exploring life. Who knows!

Is integral an open source project?

[Re-post from my blog, thought it was appropriate. Just to be clear though, I'm talking about Integral Institute/Integral Life community specifically...]

Terry Patten just posted this newsletter, “Exploring Big Questions in the Integral World.” I’m sort of glad that these are being brought up in the first place. Patten says integral themes are emerging naturally around the world, a “loosely-defined Integral movement seems to have appeare… Continue

Hey thanks. Yeah a friend of mine and I were having a conversation on how finite the word "infinite" kind of sounds, and were trying to think of new words maybe more in tune with its meaning, and that phrase came out of it. Its been kind of a mantra since, in thinking about polar but unified aspects in the scale, structure, and process and self organizing aspects of the evolution of the universe.
